Starry Night Over the Rhone<\/strong> \u2013 Here, Van Gogh captures the magic of the stars and lights reflecting on the Rhone River. The beauty of this painting to me is the brushwork. It is so defined that you can probably count how many strokes it took Van Gogh to create it. The blue-to-black transitions give the painting incredible depth and act as a mirror to the gaslights that border the river.
