Agostina Segatori Sitting in the Caf\u00e9 du Tambourin<\/strong> \u2013 I think this piece captures well the pensive mood portrayed by Miss Segatori. She was by all accounts a woman well ahead of her time \u2013 only a fiercely independent woman would own and run a restaurant in Paris in the late 1800\u2019s. She looks careworn yet so stylish in her flowing skirt and red plume. She enjoys a cigarette and a glass of beer and stares off perhaps daydreaming or simply watching others stroll along the Boulevard de Clichy.
