Corridor in the Asylum <\/strong>\u2013 My goal here was to capture the emptiness that Van Gogh must have sometimes felt as he wandered through the echoing halls of the Saint-Remy Asylum. The multiple key changes are meant to portray the grief, depression, and sadness of the inhabitants of each room. There is no clear melody that can be latched-on to just as there is no clear rhythm. \u00a0It\u2019s amazing to think that while confined in an asylum Van Gogh would create some of his most famous work; The Starry Night<\/em>, and The Irises<\/em>, to name a few.<\/p>\n
