Seascapes Near Les Saintes-Maries-de-la-Mer<\/strong> \u2013 This is one of the paintings Van Gogh signed, in a bold red no less. In it, he captures the roiling shallows of the Mediterranean Sea, three small boats bobbing in the waves, and wisps of clouds overhead.\u00a0 The colors in this painting are truly amazing \u2013 the range of blues alone is staggering and the change in water depth is portrayed both in thickness of paint and subtle blue-to-green transitions.
